Legionella

Legionella Accreditation

Organisations, or individuals who provide residential accommodation have a legal obligation to take suitable precautions to prevent or control the risk of exposure to Legionella bacteria, under the HSE Approved Code of Practice (ACOP).

Domestic Energy Assessors and other energy professionals looking to carry out Legionella Risk Assessments on behalf of organisations, or individuals who provide residential accommodation, will need to successfully complete the ABBE Level 2 Award Awareness of Legionella training course. This will allow them to join the ecmk Legionella Accreditation Scheme.
