Victor Harrison - Managing Director
Vic spent 25 years as a construction manager mainly in the housing sector and has a thorough knowledge of house design, products and construction techniques. From the late 1970s, he was involved with the Milton Keynes Development Corporation in the early experiments into energy efficient housing design in the new city. He started his own development company in 1982 and energy efficiency was an important part of the marketing strategy.
In 1990 Vic was a consultant to the National Energy Foundation and qualified as an NHER Assessor, trainer and examiner. He was also one of the first to be qualified as a BRE EcoHomes Assessor. In 1999, Vic identified a requirement to integrate all the social housing maintenance legislative requirements required by government to be combined into one software system which is now marketed as the Integrator system.
Christopher Harrison - Commercial Director
Chris has been involved with commercial management in the technology sector for the past 15 years. Chris has experience of managing and setting up sales teams, legal and marketing functions for technology companies in Europe and Asia Pacific. He has worked in Energis, Cabletron, IBM and Openwave as well as smaller start-ups such Argo Interactive Ltd. Chris has broad experience of control and management of software sales, legal and commercial contract negotiation and fulfillment in Mobile Applications, Telephony, Network Infrastructure and Database applications.
Paul Wolfe - Technical Director
Paul has been involved in commercial software development for the past fifteen years in all aspects of the software development lifecycle. Paul has over eight years experience developing software within this market sector having worked for National Energy Services as their Software Development Manager. He has in depth knowledge of the modeling techniques that underpin much of the software upon which the ECMK business plan depends. Paul has experience of managing teams of developers and in implementing robust, industry standard software development processes to enable the consistent release of high quality software products
Alan Horton - Senior Software Developer - Integrator
Alan is our principle programmer with over 25 years experience, specialising in database design solutions combining the strengths of Microsoft Access, Visual Basic and SQL Server. Qualified with a degree in Applied Physics, his experience in the buildings field generally dates back to the late 70s, having been responsible for various monitoring and evaluation field trials for low-energy housing in Milton Keynes, working with Milton Keynes Development Corporation and The Open University. (Results used for the initial NHER software)
Derek Morris - Technical Manager and Support
Derek has 40 years experience in a senior management roll as a Mechanical and Electrical Engineer for Bexley Council, Orbit Housing Association and Parkman Property Management responsible for multi million pound planed repairs, maintenance and refurbishment contracts.
Derek is well qualified to provide first line support to our users and continues to play a major role in the continuing development of the Integrator system.
Keith Jones - Operations Director
Keith has 25 years experience in marketing, commercial management and consulting in the technology sector. A physicist by training, Keith worked for 15 years for international consulting group Arthur D Little in new product development and consulting on the strategic management of technology for companies in Europe, the USA and Japan. He was then Commercial Manager for a company in the EMI Group, establishing technology licensing and manufacturing opportunities in South East Asia and the USA, before becoming Head of Marketing at BRE. After a further period operating as an independent management consultant – and a few years as a professional musician – Keith joined ECMK in 2007.
Stuart Craft - Training Manager
Having left school in 1974, Stuart worked for building company for 4 years, completed HND in Building Construction. In 1982 moved into IT where he spent 24 years including roles as Senior Programmer, Project Manager, Technical Support Manager and Systems Analyst. He had his own web design company from 2002 - 2007 then commenced working for ECMK in Feb 2007. Hobbies are: golf, photography, reading. divorced with 3 grown up children, now engaged to Alison who lives with him and her two sons (19 and 15)....also Basil the Bearded Collie who is still hyper at 5.
Gerry Cronin - Marketing Manager
Gerry has over 15 years experience in marketing in the IT industry, having worked with the Misys Group, Phoenix IT Services, Wadsworth Electronics and Polycom. Gerry looks after all aspects of marketing, communications and media for ECMK Group. She joined ECMK in 2008. Outside work, Gerry plays hockey for Enigma Ladies in Milton Keynes.
Claire Mirfin – Accreditation Scheme Manager
Claire joined ECMK in January 2006 working on the implementation of Quality Assurance across the training courses. Since then Claire has worked closely with the Training Manager to provide the Diploma in Domestic Energy Assessment. Claire now works with her team to ensure that the Accreditation Schemes run smoothly, and ensure that the Quality Monitoring of all Energy Assessors is maintained. Outside of ECMK Claire enjoys spending time with family and friends as well as caring for her horses.
