Energy Assessors wishing to produce Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs) for existing homes will need to gain the Certificate in Domestic Energy Assessment (CertDEA). This will allow them to be Accredited as Domestic Energy Assessors (DEAs). All homes now require an EPC when sold or rented to a new tenant.

The course includes full training in the RdSAP methodology used to assess existing homes and in the use of ecmk's government-approved Assessor Hub software to produce the EPC. It also includes the opportunity to assess real homes under the guidance of ecmk's trainers.
