ecmk are pleased to announce the appointment of Ian Rowley as Scheme Manager. Before stepping up to the position of Scheme Manager, Ian previously held the position Auditor and Technical Consultant within the ecmk auditing team.
Ian has a wealth of experience in the property industry, including 18 years as a Master Craftsman Carpenter and Joiner in the construction industry. Following this, Ian then became one of the first people to qualify as a Domestic Energy Assessor in 2007 and has since worked in the energy assessment industry. Ian also worked in Estate Agency property management for several years before working at ecmk. After joining ecmk in 2021, Ian has gone on to qualify as a Retrofit Assessor and Retrofit Coordinator and is passionate about high quality standards within the retrofit industry.
Ian Rowley commended: “Having worked in the energy, construction and property industries for over 30 years, including 16 years as a Domestic Energy Assessor, I joined the audit ecmk team in 2021, keen to pass on the knowledge that comes with experience to other ecmk members. Over the last few years, I have become especially interested in the retrofit industry and working for an accreditation body is a great opportunity to share my industry experience and help others. Delivering high standards has been the utmost importance in my work and I look forward to leading a fantastic team at ecmk who share the same values.”
